Visit to Gandhi Smriti

" Live as if you were to die tomorrow,
Learn as if you were to live forever."

To understand and absorb such great teachings of Great Mahatma Gandhi, students of class II visited Gandhi Smriti on 25.09.14 (Thursday). Gandhi Smriti located at Rajghat, is a merger of Gandhi Smriti and Gandhi Darshan. Students were mesmerized to see a larger than life statue of Mahatma Gandhi, with a boy and a girl holding a dove in their hands, which symbolizes his universal concern for poor and deprived. Students were amazed to see one of the largest museums of Gandhiji and a library where around 60,000 books were kept. Watching 6,000 original photos of Gandhiji was a lifetime experience. The little students tried  to assimilate the true essence of our father of the Nation whom they only know through books, the memory of which they would certainly cherish for the life time.
