The importance of Mathematics lies in all the things around us. Even a layman uses mathematics to run his life smoothly. To make little students understand and appreciate its importance "Maths Day" was observed on 11 September 2014 (Thursday) in the school where in the students of class III participated with great zeal. They portrayed the great mathematician like Aryabhata, Shankuntala Devi, Brahama Gupta etc to acknowledge their contribution in the field of Mathematics. Students enjoyed solving a mental maths worksheet given to them. They also showed great interest in Tan gram activity.
