‘Fairy Tale Retold’ competition

"A flight to an imaginative world"

Fairy Tales have always mesmerised everyone. Enacting such stories bring joy to all. But in the modern era, where everyone has to keep pace with the technology and meet its challenges ,Fairy tales sometimes sound too unrealistic. So, in order to make them interesting and acceptable, a ‘Fairy Tale Retold’ competition was organised for the students of class III on 27.12.13 (Friday). Some old stories were presented with a twisted ending to revive some moral values.

The story of ‘little Red riding hood’ taught the students not to talk to strangers. The story of ‘Aladdin and the magic lamp’ wished for a pollution and corruption free world. The story of ‘Cinderella’ taught that a woman’s true upliftment lies in her education. The story of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ talked about giving a second chance to a guilty if he/she repents. ‘Greed never pays’ was depicted by the story of ‘Shoemaker and the Elves’. The confidence and the energy of the participants left everyone fascinated .
