‘I am the
earth and the earth is me’
To inculcate
in the students, the feeling of gratitude towards nature, Earth day was
celebrated on 22 April 2014 (Tuesday) by the students of Nursery Department
with great sincerity. The students realised their duty to conserve their
environment by participating in various activities organised for them. The young
learners of Pre -Primary and class I
decorated jute bags and pen stand using waste material. Students of class II
planted saplings in the school premises and class III recited poems on the
topic ‘My Green Planet’. All the activities certainly helped in sensitizing the
scholars regarding the pressing need to save our unique planet.
