Summer is fun with Ice cream scoops

Which can uplift the droopy moods

Partying and making merry with the friends

Before the summer vacation ascends.

                                                                    

To spice up the last working day before the advent  of summer vacation, an Ice cream party was organised for the students of class Pre-Primary and class I on 13.05.14 (Tuesday) .Children relished the delicious mouth watering ‘Cornetto’ with their friends. There was a wave of excitement among the students, their chirpiness and enthusiasm enlivened the whole atmosphere. The students  bid good bye to their friends before vacation with a sweetness that they’ll cherish throughout their vacation.

On the World Red Cross Day i.e. 05.05.14 (Monday) students of Pre Primary and class I got a wonderful opportunity to share their happiness with the under privileged. They went to ‘Salam Baalak Trust’ and shared packets of biscuits with them. They all were very excited as they spent some memorable moments with them. They learnt to share and care. This visit certainly brought a positive change in their attitude towards  needy children.

 

Mother's Day

“A mother is the name of God in the lips and of the hearts for the children.”

A mother’s lap is a child’s first academy. The students of Pre-Primary celebrated Mother’s Day on 02.05. 14 (Friday) to acknowledge motherhood. They expressed their love by reciting poems for mothers and giving handouts- ‘Love You Mom’. Students of Cass I also made colourful cards as a token of love for their mother. Mothers in return showed their affection by serving homemade dishes to the children. The little children enjoyed the delicious meals made by them. This wonderful celebration strengthened the bond of love between them.

Quiz

                   ‘Proud to be an Indian’

 India’s varied and distinct culture has always amazed people around the world. To give a better insight of the rich culture, a Quiz competition, Incredible India was organized for the students of class III on 01.05.14 (Thursday). It touched significant areas about our country like monuments, states and capitals, spices, unique modes of transport etc. It was my entertaining and enriching experience for all. The team of students from class III D was declared the winners.
