Science Week

Activities based on Science were conducted for classes I , II and III on 18-07-13(Thursday) in school premises. Class I enjoyed the activity ‘Aisa Kyun Hota Hai’ wherein the students observed experiments on air and water. Class II showcased their talent in a ‘Character Portrayal’ activity wherein the students dressed up as Scientists spoke about their character and its inventions. Class III students in their activity ‘Backyard Science’ conducted many experiments like Erupting Volcano, Seed Germination, Flower in Water etc. which were judged by foreign delegates from Boston. Overall the activities made students realise the importance of science in everyday life.

Lemonade Making

SOUL REFRESHER !

Lemonade making activity was held for class I students on 12 -07-2013 (Friday). They made lemonade in the presence of their teacher. The activity cheered up the classroom atmosphere. Children had lots of fun in preparing the drink with their friends. They enjoyed sweet and sour taste of lemonade , which tingled their taste buds. It was a refreshing break from the monotonous routine.

PUPPET SHOW

A puppet show was organised for the students of Pre School and Pre Primary on 11-07-2013 (Thursday) by H.T. Pace. The puppets amazed the children and evoked the innocent play of their childhood. The story fascinated them and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and fun.

Ice Cream Party

Summers can be fun, summers can be cool, and what if we have Ice- Cream Party in a school?

Ice- Cream Party was organized for the students of Pre School to class I by the Nursery Department on 14-05-13, Tuesday. Party was organized to make the last working day before the vacations. Like Ice- Cream melts in summers, it is a message that all their worries also melt and only the sweetness and coolness fills their lives. Ice-Cream Party ended with a message- Go excited, happy and come after the vacation all charred up.

  

English Recitation Competition

"Good friends are like mountain tops, even if you don't see them you know they are there."

English Recitation was celebrated by the students of class II on 13-05-13, Monday. The theme of friendship was depicted beautifully in their poems and emphasis was given on voice modulation, expression, content and presentation. Students portrayed their poems in their own way which made it more unique. They enacted outstandingly and also conveyed a message through their poems. It was indeed a wonderful experience which helped the students exhibit their talent.

Close to nature

Students of class Pre  Primary were taken to Rambagh, Shalimar Bagh on 24-04-13 for the picnic 'Close to nature'

Lemonade Party

Hot summers become refreshing with lemonade. Nursery Department organized Lemonade Party for the students of Pre Primary on 10 May 2013 (Friday). It was an exciting break from the monotonous routine. They thoroughly enjoyed the delicious sweet and sour taste of the lemonade. Teacher made lemonade in the class and one by one told the steps of its preparation.

Lemonade was sweet and sour and for the children 

Party time was the happiest hour.
