A Peep into the Land of Fantasy

Students of Pre School were given a chance to live the life of their favourite cartoon/ fantasy character through a fashion show - “A Peep into the Land of Fantasy” held on 17-2-2013 (Tuesday) in the school premises. The tiny tots were dressed beautifully in the related attires and confidently spoke a few lines about the character they portrayed. Such activities undoubtedly helped the students bring out the best of their creativity and shed off their inhibitions, if any. 

Visit to Gandhi Smriti

Students of class I visited Gandhi Smriti on 2nd Feb'13, Saturday. They saw and experienced life like stages of Mahatma Gandhi's life & his struggle for freedom. Every corner of the place bore the signs of Bapu's thoughts & his belongings like charkha. Students also watched a movie on Mahatma Gandhi's life and felt inspired to live a simple yet respectable life. The trip was actually a feast for the eyes and an unforgettable learning experience.

Fancy Dress Competition

A fancy dress competition was held for the students of Pre Primary on 18-01-13, Friday. The theme for the competition was Toon Traits. Students dressed themselves as cartoon characters and were excited to portray their best side. Each of the student looked unique in dress up of Noddy, Barbie, Micky Mouse, Mermaid, Cinderella, Doremon, etc. It was a fun filled activity enjoyed by one and all.

Just a minute- Macaroni Garland

Students of class II enthusiastically participated in Macaroni Garland making Activity on 17-01-13. They used coloured and decorated macaroni for making the same. Their happiness knew us bounds when they adorned themselves with their own macaroni garlands. This activity also helped in improving their eye hand co-ordination. Also, the decorated garlands were a feast for eyes.

Spell Bee Competition

 'Spall mee riaght' - Need to spell it right?

The importance of spellings in English language was realized by the students of class II and III  through a Spell Bee Competition held on 26-12-12, Wednesday. Wherein the students answered various questions related to spellings in a worksheet. The exercise comprised of interesting words including commonly misspelled words. Overall they learnt the spellings of words in an interesting way.

Card Making Activity

" Jingle Bells Jingle Bells Jingle all the way"

Celebrating the festive occasion of Christmas, students of class II & III participated in Card Making Activity on 17-12-12, Monday. The students decorated the cards creatively using various 3 D objects, colours and waste material. They also displayed their love and desire to celebrate the festive occasion together.
