Nature Walk (Pre School)

Climbing trees, digging in dirt ....,are some of our fond childhood memories.Children today often don't have the free time to explore the nature as we did when we were growing up.
We at M.P.S organise such programmes where in children are encouraged to explore the nature. One such programme was organised for the pre-school children .They were taken to the nearby District Park and encouraged to notice the wonders of nature by looking around the park,at bugs, butterflies, flowers, squirrels, dry leaves, bushy green grass, animals , sound, chirping of birds, rustling of squirrels.
They enjoyed having lunch there and played outdoor games which we usually skip .Going outdoors has many benefits for kids and is important for their emotional and physical well being .It helps them to reduce their stress and be more creative , active and enthusiastic.

Earth day (20.4.11)

The term "Eco -friendly" is used to describe activities which are good for the environment.we can also call it as "Environmentally friendly".People engage in eco-friendly activities because they are concerned about the health of the environment and we also need to guide the students about these things.
Now this "Eco-friendly" activity took place in our school on 20th April ,2011 and students used newspaper, jute rope and other waste materials.
Every student participated in this, those who were not aware and not interested also participated in this and showed their deep interest in the activity.
This kind of activity should be repeated at regular intervals of time so that after the daily routine of studies, students can get some time to learn about Eco-Friendly materials and how they can be re-used.
