Fortis Christmas Carnival (24-12-2010)

Students of Modern Public School participated in the Annual Painting competition and cultural programe held on 24-12-2010 in Fortis Hospital Shalimar Bagh .Parth Gogia won Ist Prize in painting competition .Preal Chauhan and Anjali won second prize in the same competition Shreya Arora , Arnav Aggarwal andBharat Sethi participated in cultural programme and they were highly appreciated for the same .

Fancy dress Competition (31.1.11)

 The World of fashion attracts everyone ,So our young toddlers could not even stay away from this.On 31.1.11 Fancy dress competition was organised by Pre Primary where in the whole atmosphere was designed and created to let the children enjoy and explore their talent.
Everyone there enjoyed the ambience .Children were dressed up like -Newspaper, Water ,Clown , Fairies, Acid  Rain, Maggi , Corruption etc.
Some parents showed their creativity by dressing their ward. Such activities should be organised to enhance the  confidence and energy level of children.

Disney World Day (21.1.11)

Disney Cartoons takes every one to a new wonderland which provides an imaginative world to all children. Give them happiness and enjoyment .So in Pre-School we celebrated a day for our own favourite cartoon character .All kids participated with full enthusiasm.Parents took full initiative in doing face make up and dressing them in costumes and preparing their masks and cutouts.Kids were very happy and enjoyed sharing about their most likeable cartoon character i.e Tom & Jerry,Mickey Mouse etc.They were very confident on mike and it enhanced their imagination.

Bhajan Singing competition

Bhajan singing competition was organised for class I on 9.12.10.Children prepared various Bhajans and sang very well.This competition was organised in order to make them aware of the religious and traditional values.Children gave very good response and performed very well.the atmosphere became very enlightening as their performance was full of beautiful gestures and melodious sounds as well.

Spelling Bee (21.12.2010)

The world famous spelling bee , buzzed in our school too.The learners participated enthusiastically and were excited about it too.A lot of questions were asked from the learners in form of crosswords, fill in the blanks, one word for many antonyms and synonyms etc.The overall impact of the spelling bee competition was amazing.the learners faced the challenge with the right spirit.They all struggled to keep themselves up to the mark.It was not only a fun activity, but helped the students to think and improve their vocabulary.thus, it was a great success on the whole.

Show and tell on 20.12.2010

Show and tell activity was held in the class .The little learners were asked to bring any object (newspaper, books, mobile, toy etc )from their home and speak a few lines related to that object.The children participated in the activity very enthusiastically.Through this activity  they learnt to think and speak about their favourite object individually .It enhanced their confidence and facilitated them to speak in front of others .Over all response was very good.

Pen holder making .Workshop organised by H.T

Creativity not only explore the inner feelings but also help in overall development of a child.So,our prestigious school organised a "Pen Holder Making" workshop for the students of class II.The students participated actively and also learned how to make such a useful thing out of waste at home like CD's, thread, colours , foil paper roll (empty).Students were also taught how to perform these activities without spoiling their clothes and tables.
The students enjoyed the workshop and went home with beautiful pen holder in their hands.
